Experiment 9

Can two magnetic rings act together on one axis?

Two wheels driven on one axle
Two wheels mounted on one axle
The current flows on both sides from the rim to the axle

The current flows back to the axle via the outer sides of the two magnetic disks. In different to the next video.

The current flows from one disc to the other

The current flows from one side of the axle to the edge of the disc and on the other side from the edge of the disc back to the axle.

Back side of the wiring

There are several connection options for multiple experiments.

Conclusion

If the current flows through the two discs, then the two magnetic discs must be magnetically aligned in opposite directions (north-south/south-north), only then is rotation in the same direction possible. If the magnetic orientation is the same, the current must always flow from the outer edge to the axis or vice versa.
