Can the magnet disc also be used as a drive wheel?
This experiment really amazed me, it was one of my first experiments. The torque of the disc magnet was unexpected strong and it was not clear to me where the counter torque would act against it.
Conclusion
A trolley could be built with two oppositely polarized magnetic discs (the power is supplied via the rails).
